Role Overview

As a Business Operations Lead at Harvey, you will have a broad mandate and play a critical role in driving Harveys growth. Your scope will include driving high-impact initiatives, shaping strategic decision-making, and facilitating the rhythm of the business. This role will be the second individual contributor on the team and report to Harveys Chief Business Officer, collaborating closely with senior company leaders and cross-functional teammates across the business (e.g., GTM, RevOps, Product, Finance, Analytics). This role offers the opportunity to remain broad or deepen into a specialization over time.

What Youll Do

Translate company strategy into execution by identifying, prioritizing, and mobilizing key initiatives

Own high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion that move the needle for Harveys near-term and long-term growth

Examples include : segment acceleration, new segment expansion, customer return on investment definition

Influence Harveys decision-making by generating insights through research & analysis, writing proposals & recommendations, and driving alignment

Facilitate our companys operating rhythm by designing and implementing planning and review cycles (e.g., OKRs, business reviews)

Depending on business priorities and needs, you may also :

Incubate new sub-functions and business processes

Upgrade our business intelligence (e.g., KPIs, dashboards, reports)

What You Have

5-10 years of relevant work experience in strategy & execution roles, e.g., business operations, strategy & operations, management consulting, product management, entrepreneurship, investing / investment banking

Excellent problem-solving skills and foundation to deliver high quality strategic & analytical work

Track record of results and capacity to build & to execute, e.g., roll up sleeves, drive outcomes, shape an emerging function, tolerate ambiguity

Strong communication (both written & verbal), collaboration, and project management skills

Low ego and high sense of ownership

Proficiency in or willingness to learn SQL

Nice to Haves

Growth-stage start-up experience

Experience relevant to Harveys business (e.g., law / professional services, AI, B2B SaaS, legaltech)

Functional expertise (e.g., go-to-market)

MBA, JD, or other graduate degree

Compensation Range

$170,000 - $230,000 USD
