Job description

Position Detailso Type of Resource Requested (ex : RN, Physician Assistant, etc.) : Cath Lab Techo Position Title (Specialty) : Special Procedures Technologisto On-call (Y / N) : Y § If yes, what are the on-call requirements? 1 weekday / week; 1 weekend out of every 4 weekends. Follows department rotation and standards.o Hours Per Shift (ex : 8, 10, or 12) : 10o Shift Start Time : 0700

Department Specific Details (ex. nurse / patient ratio, float or weekend requirements, charting, equipment, special qualifications, or certs.) : EP experience preferred; coronary and peripheral case experience such a CTO, carotid stenting, AAA, and complex peripheral intervention. As a non-profit system of almost 4000 employees, we have won national acclaim for our cancer, cardiac, stroke, bariatric, breast imaging, and rehabilitation services.Role Specific ResponsibilitiesPerforms diagnostic radiographic exams.Utilizes PACS and EMR systemsPerforms interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast CompetencyFollows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.Performs office duties as needed.Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.Cleans and inspects departmental equipmentCleans and stocks Imaging rooms.EducationAssociate degreeLicenses and CertificationARRT Certification in RadiologyIEMABLSExperience and SkillsTechnical experience : 3 years
