The Tech One Program (TOP) is a structured career development program for entry-level wind technicians, developed in partnership with industry leaders Sky Climber Renewables and Vestas Americas.
Job Summary :
The TOP Wind Service Technicians will undergo exclusive wind safety and technical training accredited by the Global Wind Organization (GWO). They will primarily work at wind site locations near their homes, on a service team to ensure safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance. They report directly to the Program Manager and Site Manager, and indirectly to the Lead Technician during jobs. Responsibilities include performing all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine generators safely and efficiently. They maintain and repair machinery used mainly in power generation, turbines, and generators as directed. They are not certified to work inside cabinets or controllers without supervision by a certified Electrical Technician. Additional duties may be assigned to meet customer needs and align with Sky Climber's mission and values.
