MUST HAVE CVOR EXPERIENCE

Schedule Notes :

12 weeks / 40 hr / wk / 8 hour shifts Day Shift – 0630-1500 with 2 weekday calls and every 3th – 4th weekend call.

Surgical Technologist – Job Summary

Overview :

Responsible for providing safe, effective patient care in a surgical setting, adhering to professional and hospital standards. Works under the supervision of a registered nurse and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities :

Supports RNs in planning care and collaborates with health team members.

Maintains aseptic technique and performs scrubbing duties.

Interacts professionally with patients, families, physicians, and staff.

Acts as a clinical preceptor for scrubbing, guiding new staff through the orientation process.

Ensures cleanliness of the surgical area and proper care of equipment.

Required Skills & Knowledge :

Minimum Qualifications :

Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA) – Required

Graduate of accredited surgical tech program (may practice up to 3 months prior to certification), OR

Verification : Certification status can be verified at NBSTSA
