Overview : Responsible for the management of all Safety
Division operations to provide for a safe and secure environment
for all associates and guests within the company complex in
accordance with federal, state, local and company requirements.
Salary Details : $78,000 - $115,000 / yr. based on experience
Responsibilities : Develop and implement standards relating to guest
and employee safety to comply with federal, state, and local codes.
Coordinate the efforts of the company's legal defense attorneys and
insurance claims' representatives concerning personal injury
actions against the company. Develop, establish, and implement
associate safety training programs. Recommend and implement regular
safety and health inspections of all areas that affect the safety
of guests and associates. Develop, maintain, and implement company
and departmental safety policies and procedures. Establish and
implement regular safety meetings concerning guest and associate
safety Investigate and respond to safety complaints and inquiries.
Provide safety review and recommendations during engineering,
construction or modification of company projects. Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree preferred. Amusement Park Safety Inspector
certification preferred. At least 6-8 years of relevant work
experience. Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA codes and
Amusement Park ASTM standards. Ability to work nights, weekends and
holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a mandatory
(or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by
state or provincial law. Ability to pass a background check, which
may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous
employment, education and personal references, per Company policy,
unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
