An Indian Health Service (IHS) facility in New Mexico is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for a locum assignment starting January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an underserved community while gaining valuable experience in clinical and community nutrition.

Position Highlights :

Full-time locum position with possible extension

Day shift, Monday–Friday schedule – no weekends

Provide nutrition assessments, counseling, and education

Blend of clinical and community-based work

Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams

Requirements :

Registered Dietitian (RD / RDN) certification

1–3 years of experience in clinical nutrition

Prior experience working with underserved or Native populations preferred

Familiar with community health programs and medical nutrition therapy

Current BLS certification (preferred)
