Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee multiple concurrent product development projects within our aerospace-focused organization. This role is critical in coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of elastomeric product solutions that meet quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Coordination
Manage and prioritize 6-8 active projects simultaneously.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design Engineering, Test, Mold Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Quality.
Ensure alignment of project goals with company objectives and customer requirements.
Schedule & Issue Tracking
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Gantt charts for all active projects.
Support Engineering to track and manage each project's Open Issues Log, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Facilitate regular project status meetings, to help drive progress.
Supplier & Procurement Support
Work with Purchasing to monitor open purchase orders and supplier delivery status.
Escalate delays or risks to ensure continuity in project timelines.
Communication & Reporting
Provide clear and consistent updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Create and distribute project documentation, timelines, issue logs, and meeting notes.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
3+ years of project management experience, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
Familiarity with custom or engineered components is a plus.
Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project and Excel).
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills :
Experience working in a team-based product development environment.
Understanding of aerospace industry standards and supplier management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs.
