Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Mold Remediation Technician with 1–3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mold inspections, remediation, and restoration services in residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to industry standards, and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform mold remediation according to company protocols and industry guidelines (containment, HEPA vacuuming, cleaning, antimicrobial application, etc.).
- Set up and maintain containment areas and negative air pressure systems.
- Operate and maintain remediation equipment, including HEPA air scrubbers and dehumidifiers.
- Safely remove and dispose of contaminated materials such as drywall, insulation, and flooring when necessary.
- Accurately document job details, including photos, measurements, and daily progress notes.
- Communicate with project managers and clients regarding project scope, progress, and completion.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
- Assist with setup and teardown of job sites, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications :
1–3 years of professional experience in mold remediation or related field (required).Familiarity with EPA, IICRC, and industry-standard mold remediation practices.Ability to read and follow work orders, project plans, and safety protocols.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred :
