At N.E.W. Community Clinic, every patient has a story-and every member of our team plays a part in helping that story move toward better health.
As a Bilingual Medical Assistant, you will often be the first friendly face our patients see. Your ability to communicate in both English and Spanish helps build trust, ease anxiety, and ensure every patient feels welcomed, understood, and cared for. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for patients and families from many backgrounds. Your clinical skills, compassion, and ability to connect across languages will help ensure our patients feel heard, respected, and cared for.
Our team believes healthcare works best when it is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally responsive. We support one another, celebrate wins together, and share a deep commitment to serving our community with dignity and respect.
If you enjoy hands-on patient care, working as part of a collaborative healthcare team, and serving a mission that truly matters, we would love to meet you.
What You'll DoNo two days are exactly the same, but you might start your morning by welcoming a patient who feels nervous about their first visit. By mid-morning you're assisting a provider during an exam, drawing labs, and helping a patient understand their next steps for care. Later, you may help a Spanish-speaking family navigate resources or reassure someone who hasn't seen a doctor in years.
Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust, provide comfort, and improve health in our community.
