Position : Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Facility : CHA Cambridge Hospital
PR : $25 / Hour on W2 + $2000 / Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend
Gross Weekly : $3000
Location : 1493 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA 02139
Assignment Length : 13 Weeks
Shift Details : 2×12-hour shifts & 2×8-hour shifts
Shift times : 6 : 00 PM–6 : 00 AM and 10 : 00 PM–6 : 00 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week
Responsibilities :
Perform advanced respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical standards.
Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, including CPAP / BiPAP, HFNC, and ventilator adjustments.
Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling, interpretation, and documentation.
Provide emergency respiratory support during codes, rapid responses, and critical care interventions.
Deliver aerosol treatments, oxygen therapy, bronchial hygiene therapy, and pulmonary expansion therapies.
Assess patients’ respiratory status and modify treatment plans based on clinical changes.
Requirements :
Active MA Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
NBRC RRT credential
NRP certification
AHA BLS
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in the specialty
