Responsibilities Mixed-acuity hospital unit specializing in medical, surgical, and stepdown care Primarily elderly patient population, with patients as young as 18 RN patient ratios are 4 : 1 or 5 : 1 depending on acuity Must be able to work 12-hour shifts with both 36-day and 48-hour night options available Every other weekend required Rotating holiday schedule Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience required Care for a diverse mix of medical, surgical, and stepdown patients using telemetry Must be proficient in managing Cardizem and Amiodarone drips Holiday coverage is rotated among staff First-time travelers are not eligible for this position Requirements Active NH or Compact RN license with proof of state residency Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Minimum 1.5 years of recent equivalent Med / Surg experience Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years required Prior travel nursing experience required Telemetry experience required No local candidates; must live at least 75 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629138.
