Intensivist – Full-Time | Critical Care Opportunity with APP Support & Block Schedule

Location : Rapides Regional Medical Center – Alexandria, LA

Position Overview :

Rapides Regional Medical Center, a 300-bed acute care facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, is seeking a full-time Critical Care Intensivist to join our established ICU team. This position offers a block schedule, strong APP support, and full subspecialty backup in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Employed by Inhospital Physicians, the role includes competitive compensation, full benefits, and J1 visa sponsorship

Position Highlights :

Hospital : Rapides Regional Medical Center (part of HCA Healthcare)

ICU Beds : 34-bed medical / surgical ICU

Schedule : Block scheduling with rotating day and night shifts

Coverage Model :

Day : 2 Intensivists + APP support

Night : 1 Intensivist + APP

Required Procedures :

Central / arterial line placement

Ventilator management

Intubations

EMR : Meditech with voice dictation

Collaborative Environment : Close coordination with hospitalists and full specialty support including pulmonology, cardiology, surgery, and more

Qualifications :

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
