Job Overview :

Our client is seeking a 3+ years experienced Associate Attorney to join their Design Professionals Practice Group, handling complex civil and construction litigation in a collaborative, high-impact environment.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Assist partners with litigation cases from inception to trial, including trial preparation and support.

Interface with clients, insurance professionals, and retain experts for cases.

Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and argue at hearings.

Research legal issues, prepare memoranda, and evaluate liability and damages.

Support settlement negotiations, mediations, and maintain accurate time records.

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Admitted to practice in New York with 3+ years in design professional or construction litigation.

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Experience with written discovery and motion practice.

Ability to work independently, multitask, and efficiently manage complex matters.
