Warehouse Associate / Safety Rail Installer (Dallas) – Full-time, Dallas, TX
Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate / Safety Rail installer to join our growing and dynamic team of professionals at our DFW warehouse location.
Key Details
- Pay rate : $20.00 to $24.00 / hour
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days

- Up to 8 paid holidays per calendar year after 90 days
- Up to 7 days of paid vacation time during first year
- Located on Newkirk St in the DFW, TX area
- Core work schedule : M-F 6 : 00AM-3 : 00PM
Minimum Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent GEDThree years of experience working in a similar capacity; orAn equivalent combination of education and experienceOther Requirements
Valid and current Texas issued driver's license with a clear driving record for at least the past five consecutive yearsForklift certification to operate a sit-down forkliftMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screenClear criminal backgroundPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions
This position will regularly be exposed to an outdoor, non-climate controlled environment, operating a motor vehicle on roadways, operating machinery including a forklift, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Also includes bending, stooping, standing, walking, seeing, and reaching.
Job Responsibilities
Pull inventory and stage all orders for delivery or pick-up in a courteous and timely mannerReceive materials from delivery trucks and installer returns, and process paperworkOrganize workflow to meet customer deadlinesUtilize BOLT software for order schedules and pick ticketsMaintain accurate inventory through the receiving process, order pulling and order check-outSupport team members through service and flexibilityBecome knowledgeable on all materialAssist in deliveries as instructed and scheduled by the Warehouse Supervisor (WS)Organize and re-stock inventory to maximize order pulling efficiencyPerform cycle counts in coordination with WSWork with team members to cut items (handrail, blinds)Report any discrepancies or issues with our product to WSBecome knowledgeable on, and perform the completion of, safety rail installation and blinds installationOperate a forklift and pallet jackCommunicate effectively with the WS, the Sales Team, and install crews, informing and updating them regularly to ensure sales and customer objectives are metEnsure all duties are performed in a safe, effective, and efficient manner, in accordance with all Company policiesDemonstrate integrity, accountability, teamwork, and respect in all aspects of the jobPerforms other duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer
