Control Center Operator

Job Summary :

The Control Center Operator is responsible for monitoring multiple wind and solar generation assets and asset networks with multiple connections and interfaces receiving direction from and interfacing with transmission system operations analyzing problems performing troubleshooting communicating events to TAKKION management as well as receiving and responding to utility / asset owner requests. The Control Center Operator will report to the CCS (Control Center Services) Manager.

Job Responsibilities :

• Asset and network monitoring prioritizing safety and reliability.
• Professional and efficient communication via protocol with ISO and other BES (bulk electrical system) entities.
• Basic troubleshooting and configuration of asset SCADA and other monitoring systems.
• Incident response / Reporting problems.
• Preparing daily summary of events / activity reports.
• Receive and respond to asset owner and field technician notifications events and instructions.
• Must effectively follow standard operating procedures.
• Inform TAKKION management of issues implement and track corrective measures.
• Follow up issues resolution to achieve asset availability and network uptime targets.
• Other duties as assigned by CCS Manager.
• There is also an incentive for working nightshift.
