Talent4health is seeking a “School-based, Physical Therapist" contract position with a client in Albany, New York, United States.

Shift / Schedule :

  • 9 am - 2 : 30 pm

Responsibilities :

  • School-based therapists (PT) are part of a team of related service providers who support a student's ability to access his / her educational environment.
  • As specialists in movement, they assist a student's physical participation in a variety of settings throughout the school day.
  • The primary role of the School - Physical Therapist is to help students benefit from their educational program within the educational environment.
  • Collaborate with team members on Individual Education Plans (IEP's) and Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Plans.
  • Participate in meetings and professional development activities.
  • Instruct classroom personnel on therapy techniques and safety protocols.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor's degree from an accredited physical therapy curriculum.

    • Required Skills :

  • Minimum 1 year's experience required.
  • License REQ : An active Physical Therapist NYS Certification / Registration required
  • Certs REQ : BLS - Basic Life Support - preferred

    • Pay range and compensation package :

  • W2 hourly range : $59.00 to $64.00
