Our client, an educational organization dedicated to student safety and well-being, is seeking a Bus Aid to join their team. As a Bus Aid, you will be part of the transportation department supporting school operations. The ideal candidate will have patience, attentiveness, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Bus Aid

Location : MARION, IN

Pay Range : $11

Shift : Split (morning and afternoon bus routes)

What's the Job?

  • Assist students with boarding, seating, and exiting the bus safely
  • Monitor student behavior and ensure adherence to safety rules
  • Provide support to students with special needs, including securing wheelchairs and mobility devices
  • Communicate effectively with the bus driver and school staff regarding student needs or concerns
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in all situations

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass background checks (CLEAR background required)
  • Ability to perform emergency procedures when necessary, including evacuation drills
