Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Shelby, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry
• Discipline : RN
• Duration : 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift : 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type : Local Contract
• Minimum 2 years Med / Tele RN experience required
• Will accept a first-time traveler
• Required Licensure & Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Basic Med / Tele skillset required : Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem / Amiodarone), general medical / surgical skillset
• Care of patients with tubes / drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care / dressing changes required
• Will be required to float per region needs - will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice - DECLINE if not agreeable
• Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
• Navy blue scrubs required
