Per Diem / PRN Pediatric Home Health RN - $55-56 per hour

Planet Healthcare is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN Home Health for a per diem / prn nursing job in Akron, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Home Health Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : Ongoing Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Per Diem 28.5 hours required weekly Home Care Peds RN Will consist of one visit per shift, patients will be mostly on trachs and vents at home. Travel to homes up to 1 hour from facility. THIS IS A DEDICATED PEDS HOME HEALTH POSITION- WILL NOT BE AT THE FACILITY. 6 months in either home health or an acute care setting is required PICU exp required. Experience in Pediatrics and / or working with individuals with developmental delays is preferred. Experience in managing technology dependent and / or medically complex patients is preferred. Communication skills needed to work with all levels within an organization is required. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Education : RN, BSN required Certification : Current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse is required. Current CPR / BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required. Years of experience : Six months experience required in one of more of the following areas : Home Care, Geriatric care, Medical / Surgical, CCU, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, or Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
