Plant Lean Manager

Responsibilities :
- Primary resource for leading the Lean transformation through the implementation of the Parker Lean System (PLS).
- Delivers training to associates in PLS methodology and tools to eliminate waste in all administrative, manufacturing and support functions.
- Measures and reports progress on an on-going basis using the site's Win Scorecard and site's PLS Lean Journey Assessment.
- Works with Site leadership on Lean implementation strategy.
- Ensures adherence to PLS standards for the Site, Value Stream, and Team Improvement Boards, enabling a PDCA culture and progression of the Lean Journey.
- Provides technical and operational recommendations in meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Ensures on-going education of self and all employees at the site in PLS.
- Leads a Continuous Learning environment.
- Communicates the status of all Lean efforts to the Division Operations Manager.
- Facilitates Kaizen Events on a monthly cadence.
- Manages the planning, execution, and follow-up of Kaizen events.
Qualifications Required :
Bachelor's degree required.4+ years of successful manufacturing experience with at least two years of direct Lean leadership.A demonstrated understanding of Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand and Capacity Planning, Single Piece Flow, 5S, Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Level Loading, Standard Work, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma and Communication Tools, Statistical Problem Solving and IATF 16949.Understanding of financial measurements.Effective presentation skills.Excellent Microsoft Office skills.Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
