Forklift Operator

We are seeking a qualified Forklift Operator responsible for safely operating and maintaining forklifts to ensure the efficient handling of materials within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safely operate and care for forklifts, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Complete and document forklift inspection forms before each shift and when operating new equipment; report maintenance needs to supervision.
• Locate and deliver stock to machines in a timely manner.
• Remove finished goods from machines and maintain organized stacks of stock in storage areas.
• Accurately complete necessary paperwork related to stock location and equipment utilization.
• Adhere to the daily production schedule, recommending optimizations to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
• Assist other forklift operators and serve as backup to the Shipping Lead Person as needed.
• Prepare and submit reports including Production Data, Machine Operational Status, and Quality Data in a timely manner.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintaining good housekeeping practices.
