Description :

Registered Nurse position in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

Short Stay / PACU experience is required.

First-time travelers are welcome, with at least one year of experience preferred.

Position will float between units as needed.

On-call obligations include one night per week and one weekend per month.

Weekends are required only when on call.

Expected patient ratios are 1 : 3.

Candidates will be required to float to other units based on skill sets.

Special requirements include experience in managing arterial lines and ventilated patients.

Proficient in IV vasopressors, blood product administration, and conscious sedation techniques.

Must have experience in pain assessment and management, including PCA pump management.

This role will also require familiarity with the Epic charting system.

Travelers are expected to adhere to policy regarding floating between facilities.

Candidates must be willing to request all scheduling ahead of time during the submission process.
