Pieper Automation is expanding and is looking for its nextAutomation Service Engineer to provide service and support to customers around Columbus, GA. that require troubleshooting / repair of automation systems.

As a higher level position this role requires significant experience in variousbrands and types of Automation hardware / software. No Automation Engineer canpossibly know everything. That is not a requirement , but Humility , Courage & having a Servants Heart are . Those are3 of the 7 values we live by. They are essential in this role. Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial controls (PLC, HMI, VFD, SCADA)and field service work; or 5 years
• Minimum experience in industrial electricalfield service and an advanced knowledge of wiring practices (NEC, UL).
• Minimum of 2 years of vocational or technical training in job related field,preferably construction electrical, industrial electrical, Automation SystemTechnology, or similar discipline
• A strong commitment to safety, placing safety as a priority above all else.
• Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contributeimmediately.
• Knowledge and experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens control systems alongwith others is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand the customer'spoint-of-view.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with various levels ofpersonnel including customers, vendors, managers, field and office workers.
