About the Role

The Associate Manager, e-Commerce Site Operations for Dormify is responsible for overall site operations, including implementation of seasonal site content, testing & validating web site and mobile app releases, and works with the director, as well other cross-functional partners to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards. The Associate Manager will be the lead on the following : operational improvements, site partnerships and comprehensive testing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively review the site with a customer-first mindset, identifying operational and customer experience problems, while suggesting and delivering on solutions
  • Manage day-to-day and long-term maintenance of the website including launch and set-up issues
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines and provides feedback ensuring deliverables align with project goals
  • Collaborate with Technology, Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, and Development teams to execute critical site enhancements, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Fully test / QA / UAT site initiatives prior to launching to the website prioritizing any issues found to be fixed and subsequently validated.

Troubleshoot and / or escalate website issues and see them through to resolution.

Use a CMS to build webpages and launch content for marketing, merchandising, etc. as needed.

  • Assist in the development of documentation for digital experience SOPs and best practices across functions for the team
  • Manage implementation of project releases, interfacing with cross-functional teams to ensure on time and on budget completion of project releases.
  • Proactively review the site with a customer-first mindset, identifying operational and customer experience problems, while suggesting and delivering on solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with partners, and internal department teams.
  • Works on special assignments as needed.

    • Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Web Development, or related qualification preferred.
  • One to two years experience in project management role and / or eCommerce experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills / team player and demonstrated ability to work with various teams
  • Proven business skills and demonstrated ability to understand technology, including website development processes and project management as a discipline.
  • Superb communication skills and can easily break down complex topics to smaller, more digestible pieces
  • Creative problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Excellent project and time management skills. Highly adaptable and capable of balancing multiple deliverables at once.

    • Flexible schedule that can accommodate off hour / cadence site launches and technical issue triaging.

    This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office

    The expected starting pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
