Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist for a travel contract opportunity in the San Marcos, Texas area. This role involves working with acute and critical patients in a high-acuity Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting.

Assignment Details :

Schedule : 7 : 30am 3 : 30pm

Call : Required, 3 out of every 6 weekends (30-minute response time)

Duration : 13 weeks

Experience : XPER and EPIC preferred

Responsibilities :

Perform standard and complex cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures

Assist cardiologists and ensure all clinical requirements of the Cath Lab are met

Prepare sterile fields, handle instruments, and maintain equipment and supplies

Operate angiographic and monitoring systems to record and assist in EKG and hemodynamic data interpretation

Demonstrate competency in both routine and emergency procedures

Adhere to aseptic and sterile techniques and uphold AIDET communication standards

Support and mentor other technologists while maintaining workflow and supply levels

Maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal safety standards

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent required

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Sciences, Allied Health, or Cardiovascular Technologist program

Minimum 3 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization procedures

Lead or supervisory experience preferred

Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license through the Texas Medical Board and ARRT certification, or active RCIS / RCES credential

BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only)
