Position Summary

Within the Global Tax Team, Qnity is looking to recruit a Managing Director, Global Tax Planning. This is a senior role reporting directly to the Vice President, Tax. The candidate will lead the company's global tax planning and strategy function, providing strategic direction and oversight on all domestic and international strategic tax matters and will be responsible for optimizing the company's effective and cash tax position while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and in alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate is an experienced strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the development and implementation of global tax strategiesand ad-hoc planning opportunitiestooptimizethe company's effective tax rate and cash tax outflows.

Identify, evaluate, and execute tax-efficient structures for acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and other corporate transactions.

Lead global and U.S. international tax planning initiatives tooptimizethe company's effective tax rate, including GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F, and foreign tax credit planning.

Evaluatetheimpact of global tax reform developments (e.g., Pillar2and U.S. legislative changes) on the company's tax position as well asthe development of mitigationstrategies.

Partner with treasury, legal, and finance teams tooptimizeglobal cash repatriation and capital deployment strategies.

Collaborate with M&A and business development teams to assess and implement tax-efficient structures for acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations.

Coordinate with all areas of the tax organization toassureseamless implementation of tax planning strategies.

Ensure that all tax planning strategies align with the company's compliance and reporting obligations under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and global regulations.

Effectivecollaboration withthetax provision and compliance teams inidentifyingplanning-related adjustments and disclosures.

Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities to support planning initiatives and audits.

Present complex tax concepts and strategic recommendations to senior executives, board committees, and other keyseniorstakeholders.

Ensure strong internal controls and governanceover alltax planning activities.

Experience and Qualifications :

Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to assessthebusiness impactof complex tax concepts.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively withsenior management, includingC-suite executives.

Strong leadership skills withdemonstratedtrack recordin working with culturally diverse teams and external advisors.

High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to risk management.

15+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, including at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role,obtained within an in-house multinational organization, top-tier lawfirmand / or Big 4 public accounting firm.

Extensive experience in domestic and international tax planning, mergers & acquisitions, and cross-border structuring, with a proventrack recordin successfullynavigating complex technical issues.

Deep technicalexpertisein GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F, foreign tax credit optimization, and tax reform modeling.

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and international tax accounting principles (ASC 740).

Broader experience withrelevant otherfields ofexpertise, such ascorporate lawor Treasuryoperations,areconsideredan advantage.

Education and Credentials :

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field;advanced degrees, such as aMaster's in Taxationor a JD / LLM in tax.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional designationrequired.

The Pay range for this role is $178,500.00 - $280,500.00 Annual
