Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Registered Dietitian to join our growing team on a part-time or contract basis . This role is ideal for a clinician seeking a flexible schedule while working with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Services will primarily be clinic-based, with the possibility of some community-based sessions.

Opportunities include :

Developing and leading nutrition education groups for children, families, and community partners

Participating in community outreach events to promote healthy eating habits and nutrition awareness

Collaborating with therapists and healthcare providers for a coordinated, family-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

Conduct nutrition assessments for pediatric clients

Create individualized nutrition care plans addressing each child's medical, developmental, and feeding needs

Provide caregiver education and counseling to support healthy eating habits and feeding success

Address special nutrition needs such as food allergies, picky eating, weight management, and medically prescribed diets

Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and feeding specialists in joint therapy programs

Develop and facilitate group nutrition education sessions

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with clinic and insurance requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition / Dietetics from an accredited program

Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Delaware state licensure or eligibility for licensure

Pediatric experience preferred

Strong understanding of pediatric nutrition, feeding disorders, and family-centered care

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
