Position Summary
The Junior Supply Specialist is responsible for receiving and fulfilling a high volume of customer orders submitted via phone, email, and online portals. The role includes reviewing device details, entering orders accurately into various systems, and providing shipping quotes—including expedited options when requested. The Junior Supply Specialist responds to customer inquiries, verifies purchase order pricing, and collaborates with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues such as delayed or missing shipments. Additional responsibilities include maintaining order documentation, supporting follow-up communication, and assisting with other tasks to meet team and company objectives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Receive and process a high volume of customer orders via phone, email, and online portals.
- Review device and product details to ensure accurate order entry across multiple systems.
- Provide shipping quotes, including expedited options such as overnight delivery.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify purchase order pricing and escalate discrepancies to appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with internal departments (sales, warehouse, shipping) and external partners (vendors, carriers) to resolve order and delivery issues.
- Support follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
- Assist basic supply tracking as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products, systems, and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Reliable transportation and adherence to company standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years previous customer service/call center experience.
- Industry Experience.
