Job Summary And Qualifications The cardiac Cath lab RN, under supervision of the Supervisor of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of CV services is responsible for performing the daily operations for the cardiac Cath lab. The CCL RN is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, assists the Physician during procedures, responsible to circulate cases, scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures and hemodynamic monitoring. Patient care functions will be performed in accordance with the nurse practice act in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. Provides patient education of Cath lab procedures. Maintains quality of technical and nurse duties and adheres to department and hospital policies and procedures in a manner consistent with the missions and goals of the organization. What qualifications you will need : Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing with an Associate’s of Science of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred 2 years of experience in an acute care setting 1-2 years ICU / CCU critical care experience 1-2 years Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience Ability to read arrhythmias Medical City North Hills is a 165 bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County.
