As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for all occupants. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential issues.

Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious behavior and report any concerns as directed by site-specific protocols.

Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and public service personnel as needed.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Follow all post orders and directives established for the government location and adapt to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

A valid guard card or security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
