American Traveler is hiring an Acute Care Radiology Technologist for overnight week-on-week-off shifts, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care hospital environmentOvernight shifts on a week-on, week-off rotationPerform diagnostic imaging procedures including general radiography, fluoroscopic exams, and OR C-Arm proceduresServe patients in areas such as NICU, CCU, ED, and the operating roomPerform a variety of radiologic procedures, including patient education, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis with provider supportAssist with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements and diagnostic procedures in collaboration with radiology and surgical teamsMaintain documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of examsParticipate in education for students, new hires, and peers regarding diagnostic and operative guidance examsPotential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseasesPosition may require response to emotionally challenging situations and resolving conflicts with patients or familiesStrict 90-mile radius rule for eligibility applies\n \n Requirements\n
Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalentMontana Radiology Technologist license required if applicableCurrent ARRT (R) certification requiredBLS certification from AHA within 3 months of hireMinimum 1 year of radiology experience, including clinical internshipCompetency in advanced imaging techniques, including fluoroscopic / C-Arm procedures, trauma, and portable radiographyMust live at least 90 miles from the facility for considerationAbility to support 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods\n Benefits\n
