Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an Acute Care Radiology Technologist for overnight week-on-week-off shifts, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care hospital environment
  • Overnight shifts on a week-on, week-off rotation
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including general radiography, fluoroscopic exams, and OR C-Arm procedures
  • Serve patients in areas such as NICU, CCU, ED, and the operating room
  • Perform a variety of radiologic procedures, including patient education, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis with provider support
  • Assist with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements and diagnostic procedures in collaboration with radiology and surgical teams
  • Maintain documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
  • Participate in education for students, new hires, and peers regarding diagnostic and operative guidance exams
  • Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases
  • Position may require response to emotionally challenging situations and resolving conflicts with patients or families
  • Strict 90-mile radius rule for eligibility applies

  • Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
  • Montana Radiology Technologist license required if applicable
  • Current ARRT (R) certification required
  • BLS certification from AHA within 3 months of hire
  • Minimum 1 year of radiology experience, including clinical internship
  • Competency in advanced imaging techniques, including fluoroscopic / C-Arm procedures, trauma, and portable radiography
  • Must live at least 90 miles from the facility for consideration
  • Ability to support 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods
