Scheduler Position

We are looking for an experienced Scheduler to work locally within Port Allen, LA. The schedule is Monday Friday, 8-10 hour shifts.

Position Summary :

As a Scheduler, you will plan, schedule, coordinate and / or monitor the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provide timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

Key Responsibilities :

• Produces production schedule in line with production capacity to meet customer deliveries.
• Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite the flow of material to meet the production schedule.
• Coordinate with material purchasing group and / or expedite suppliers' material purchase orders as required.
• Notify Outside Sales and Customer Service Representatives of any schedule impacts to customers.
• Coordinates with production teams to develop production schedules to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Performs other duties as required.
