Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a EEOICPA Operational And Admin Business Support Verification of Employment Support Specialist (Full-Time) located in the Hanford Tri-Cities Area (Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford in Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area.

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt's operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.

ProSidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program / project management support, operational / administrative business support, and environmental consulting support.

AMMS EEOICPA O&A B Candidates shall work to support requirements as a EEOICPA Operational And Admin Business Support Verification of Employment Support Specialist and provide general support services EEOICPA Operational And Administrative Business Support to The Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL) Assistant Manager for Mission Support (AMMS).

The EEOICPA mission is to protect the interests of workers who were injured or became ill on the job, or their families, by making timely, appropriate, and accurate decisions on claims and providing prompt payment of benefits to eligible claimants.

The EEOICPA Program compensates current or former employees (or their survivors) of the Department of Energy (DOE), its predecessor agencies, and certain of its vendors, contractors and subcontractors, who were diagnosed with a radiogenic cancer, chronic beryllium disease, beryllium sensitivity, or chronic silicosis, as a result of exposure to radiation, beryllium, or silica while employed at covered facilities. The EEOICPA also provides compensation to individuals (or their eligible survivors) awarded benefits by the Department of Justice under Section 5 of the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).

The EEOICPA Operational And Admin Business Support Verification of Employment Support Specialist shall provide support in the following areas :

  • Support the EEOICPA Program Manager and project lead in all phases of program implementation.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing EEOICPA claims.
  • Prepare verifications of employment.
  • Provide support for data capture requests from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Department of Labor (DOL) and other involved parties.
  • Assist in completion of DOE's requirements to support DOL and NIOSH during on-site data capture visits and in preparation for the data capture visits.
  • Escort visitors to classified meetings.
  • Assist in documenting data captures.
  • Provide administrative or basic technical support during these data capture visits.
  • Assist in compilation and reporting of consolidated monthly cost expense reports to DOE-HQ.
  • Review and analyze personnel records for relevant information, as well as skills at preparing summary documents. After receipt of the information from others on site, the Contractor shall compile the entire package including the employment verification prepared, evaluate it for completeness and process the claim to the requesting agency.
  • Ability to use automated tools to track and report on the processing of these claims or other data requests, as well as the ability to scan documents into electronic format and the ability to manipulate and consolidate electronic files.
  • Specific Task profile For EEOICPA Operational And Admin Business Support Verification of Employment Support Specialist
  • Provide verification of employment reports on employees for former contractors, based on review and analysis of personnel records available. Verifications shall include a narrative of the job title and work location, as well completion of the EE-5 forms required by Department of Labor.

Qualifications

The EEOICPA Operational And Admin Business Support Verification of Employment Support Specialist shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word / Excel / Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The EEOICPA Operational And Admin Business Support Verification of Employment Support Specialist shall possess the following minimum qualifications :

  • High school diploma.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Possess the skills and knowledge of EEOICPA necessary to process claims, evaluate the needed information, and refer the claims to the necessary Hanford Site contractors for their partial submittals.
  • Possess appropriate records management experience or is obtaining Federal records management training.
  • Have the ability to obtain a Q clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • TRAVEL : Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.

    LOCATION : Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy - Richland Operations Office, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.
