If you’re a mechanically-minded car enthusiast with stellar customer service skills, this job is for you! Our dealership seeks an automotive service advisor who loves greeting customers, assessing customer needs, and scheduling appointments for our capable service technicians. In this role, you’ll use your product knowledge as a service advisor and draft cost estimates, evaluate warranty protections, and coordinate necessary repairs. Scheduled working hours : Monday-Friday, 7 : 30 am to 6 pm. Every Other Saturday, 8 am to 2 pm

Compensation :

$52,500 - $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Appropriately file all automotive documents such as maintenance records, invoices, repair orders, and more
  • Maintain the service department schedule and slot appointments for vehicle repairs
  • Resolve customer complaints and make follow-up calls to facilitate a positive service center experience
  • Verify warranty protections, review service contract coverage, create cost estimates, and all other documentation to facilitate vehicle service work
  • Leverage automotive technology and product knowledge to clearly address customer needs and share the status of service appointments
  • Maintain a high level of customer service scores
  • Commission-based pay with monthly spiffs and bonuses for performance
  • Build core relationships with your customers from start to finish
  • Multitasking from the intake of new service vehicles, selling service jobs, and delivering completed vehicles back to your customers

Qualifications :

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
  • Previous experience working as a service technician or in a service department a plus
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessary
  • A valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is required
  • Prior use or knowledge of CDK. Suggested but not required
  • Computer / Modern Automotive Software knowledge
  • Previous Dealership Service experience preferred
  • Self Driven
  • Multitasking abilities
