Material Handler

As directed, the Material Handler performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with receiving, stocking, kitting, packaging, and shipping goods of the establishment in which employed. The Material Handler must be able to follow established guidelines and procedures during the performance of day-to-day, routine tasks and may direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling material to be shipped or being received.

What You Will Do :

• Track and maintain material through various programs such as Excel and other HII programs.
• Receive deliveries as required
• Maintain signed and completed DD Form 1149 and packing slip folder for GFE (Government Furnished Equipment).
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• Package shipments for delivery per program requirements
• Assist in processing / monitoring shipping requests and work with various shipping companies to schedule and deliver shipments per program requirements.
• Provide daily reports of material received to appropriate parties.
