Physician / Oncology - Medical / Illinois / Locum tenens / Medical Oncologist Opportunity - No Call Job

We have a client in Illinois that is launching a new Medical Oncology practice and seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist to join their team on a locum tenens basis. Overview : Schedule : 3 days per week, Monday Friday Shift Hours : 7 : 30 AM start, 8 10 hour shifts Estimated Shifts : 12 per month No call or weekend coverage required Support : On-site APP for consults, follow-ups, and patient management; PRN Medical Oncologist available one week per month EMR : Epic Responsibilities include : Direct patient care including consults, admissions, and follow-ups Hospital rounding as needed Coordination with APPs for patient management and orders Multidisciplinary care planning with the cancer care team Coverage when PRN Oncologist is not on-site Requirements : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology Active Illinois medical license (CSR required) DEA and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
