Key duties and responsibilities include managing customers, maintaining an orderly and clean gift area, maintaining a working knowledge of the gift inventory, price and availability, and assist in stocking gift shelves and displays, cash register, gift wrapping and assist with other departments as needed.
Customer Service :
- Respond to and attend to customer requests in the gift department
- Have a working knowledge of the grocery store and deli inventory to assist customers
- Respond to questions and complaints of customers in a polite manner
- Assist customers in gift decisions and shipping choices
