  • Location : Ottumwa, IA 52501 (Southeast Iowa)\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment\n
  • Unit : Telemetry (MS / Tele)\n
  • Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour day shifts)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week (option for 48 hours / week upon request)\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026)\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 (with CNA and LPN support)\n
  • Electronic Health Record : MediTech\n
  • Floating : May float to other units or facilities within a 25-mile radius\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680-$1800\n

    • \n\nTelemetry RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical RN experience\n
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred\n
  • Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult)\n
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening (including opiates)\n
  • Recent titers (within the last 12 months)\n
  • Clear background checks (Iowa SING BG, including Criminal and Child Abuse)\n
  • Travel nursing experience preferred but not required\n

  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Telemetry unit\n
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition\n
  • Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately in MediTech EHR\n
  • Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Float to other units or healthcare facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed\n
  • Maintain compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements\n
