(PRN / Part Time Field Based)

What Youll Do
As a Physical Therapist Assistant youll help patients reach their mobility and independence goals by providing high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Deliver safe effective and compassionate care in accordance with each patients Plan of Care.
Follow the established Plan of Care and communicate any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Adhere to state practice guidelines and Elara Carings standards for exceptional home health care.
Educate patients and caregivers on safe use of assistive devices and home exercise programs.
Perform hands-on active work that includes lifting transferring and assisting patients as needed.
What Youll Need
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
Current unrestricted PTA license valid in the state of practice.
Minimum of six months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
Reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned coverage area.
Ability to sit stand bend lift and move intermittently with the capacity to lift 50100 lbs.
