Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

Work day shifts from 6 : 45 AM to 7 : 15 PM

36 guaranteed hours per week

Weekend hours required

No call requirements

Required certifications : BLS, NRP

2+ years level 3 or 4 NICU experience required

STABLE certification preferred

Black scrubs required

May float to mother baby or pediatrics but unlikely due to high census

Care for level 3 NICU infants including high frequency vents, conventional vents, CPAP, NIMV, HFNC

Manage nitric oxide therapy and whole body cooling

Handle OG / NG / PO feedings, UAC, UVC, PICC, and PIV procedures

Attend high risk deliveries and all cesarean section deliveries

Work with 25 bed unit plus overflow beds on pediatric floor

Patient ratios depend on acuity : typically 3 feeders, 2 CPAP, 1 nitric, 1 cooling

Use EPIC electronic medical record system
