Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students across multiple school sites in Central Point, Oregon. This in-person role begins September 29, 2025, and runs through the end of the 20252026 school year. Candidates may choose between a $33 / hour rate or a weekly travel package of $2,000. Virtual interviews with the SPED team are available.

Position Highlights

Location : Central Point, OR

Grade Level : K12

Caseload : Floating between a few nearby schools

Schedule : MondayFriday, 40 paid hours / week

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 35 weeks

Modality : In-person only

Interview : Virtual

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language services

Support clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities

Work within the scope of the assigned plan of care

Collaborate with school teams to support student communication goals

Requirements

Associate's or bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

Completion of 100+ hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent

Current Oregon SLPA license or eligibility to apply

One year of SLPA experience (preferred)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate if applicable

Must be at least 18 years of age
