Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory care.
Utilize performance metrics to track and improve personal success.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and best practices.
Provide support and mentorship to junior respiratory therapists.
Engage in community outreach to promote respiratory health awareness.
Experience / Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in California.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Experience in administering respiratory therapies in a clinical setting.
Ability to monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Experience in quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in healthcare.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient documentation.
Experience in community outreach related to respiratory health.
