  • Position Summary The Facilities Technician plays a key role in maintaining and supporting Eden Green Technology’s greenhouse operations.
  • This is a multi-function position that includes maintenance, construction, janitorial, and food safety support.
  • The Facilities Technician will respond promptly to maintenance requests, support operational needs, and help ensure our facilities run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
  • This role requires flexibility to work different shifts depending on business needs, with possible on-call assignments.

Responsibilities Respond to high-priority maintenance tasks within 1 hour of notification   Respond immediately to food safety issues and resolve according to prescribed Food Safety Procedures   Perform general maintenance, repairs, and equipment upkeep for facilities, tools, and machinery   Support construction, assembly, and installation projects as needed   Maintain accurate records in the Maintenance Tracking System (Upkeep) daily, closing out tickets upon completion   Account for tools used daily and return to tool locker at end of shift   Perform janitorial tasks as needed to maintain cleanliness and safety standards   Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules   Collaborate with the facilities team to identify and address potential safety hazards   Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures   Qualifications Required :

  • 1–2 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred (not required)   Reliable and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills   Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor   Basic math and measurement skills   Ability to multi-task and stay focused under pressure   Experience working effectively both on a team and independently   Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery   Effective verbal and written communication skills in English   Close attention to detail with ability to maintain daily records   Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions and varying indoor climates   Preferred / Helpful Skills : Electrical knowledge   Plumbing knowledge   HVAC knowledge   Forklift experience   Food safety knowledge or experience   Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay, commensurate with experience   Health benefits   PTO   401(k) with company matching   Slip-resistant shoe reimbursement program   Employee Takeaway Program — free, freshly harvested produce available daily   About Eden Green Technology Eden Green Technology provides a scalable, sustainable alternative to traditional agriculture with a decentralized network of vertical greenhouses.
