Overview

Head of Venue Partnerships (Co-Founder Level Role) at SpotIt | Washington, DC | Immediate Start

We’re 14 days from launching SpotIt—a real-time discovery app that will transform how 27

  • million DC visitors and locals find experiences. Think “Uber for spontaneous moments”—showing what’s happening RIGHT NOW or SOON with in few blocks verified and auto expiring with countdown timers.

We’ve solved the product. Now we need someone to own venue acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Own all B2B partnerships for DC’s hottest app launch (Oct 31)
  • Build from 0 to 500+ venues in 90 days
  • Shape the go-to-market strategy for a product that actually works
  • Onboard and manage venue relationships, ensuring quality and timely activation
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and ops to refine venue onboarding flows and product positioning
  • Qualifications

  • Proven closers : 2+ years B2B sales, hospitality / retail experience is gold
  • DC connected : Know the bar / restaurant scene
  • Startup ready : Comfortable with ambiguity, building from zero
  • Immediately available : Can start tomorrow
  • Rejection proof : You hear “no” 40 times to get 2 “yeses”
  • Compensation

    Phase 1 (First 30 Days – Launch Sprint)

  • Base : $2,500 / month
  • Commission : $100 per committed venue
  • Target : 50 venues = $5,000 commission
  • Total Month 1 : $7,500
  • Phase 2 (Days 31-90 – Scale)

  • Base : $5,000 / month
  • Commission : $75 per venue + $500 per enterprise partner
  • Equity vests begin
  • Phase 3 (After 90 Days – Full Role)

  • Base : $80,000 / year
  • OTE : $140,000 (with commission)
  • Benefits package
  • Equity : 1.5% (4-year vest, 1-year cliff)
