Quality Systems Associate (Technical Writer)

Titusville, NJ Hybrid (3 days per week)

12-month contract

As the Technical Writer / Quality Systems Associate ready, you will play a key role in optimizing the enterprise Quality Management System (QMS). This entry-level to early-career role is perfect for professionals who possess strong organizational skills, a knack for problem-solving, and are excited to learn and grow in a quality-driven environment.

You will play a key role in system administration, stakeholder engagement, and improving quality processes, while gaining valuable experience in technical writing, compliance, and innovative technologies like generative AI tools. Our ideal candidate is eager to develop skills in quality systems, has a proactive mindset, and thrives while working collaboratively with teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional experience interest in managing systems or databases via documentation
  • Great communication and willingness to work cross-functionally with teams
  • Technical writing skills or an eagerness to learn how to create user-friendly documentation.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret data and provide meaningful suggestions
  • Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to manage and maintain key records within the QMS, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with system users to resolve technical issues, with support from senior team members.
  • Explore generative AI tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of your content.
  • Track change control statuses and approvals to maintain compliance standards.
  • Participate in regular reviews and audits to gain experience in compliance and data integrity.
  • Coordinate meetings and activities with internal teams and external partners.
  • Follow up on tasks and approvals to develop project management skills.
  • Support communication channels and strengthen your ability to align diverse groups
  • Assist in generating reports that highlight risks, overdue actions, and improvement opportunities.
  • Learn to interpret data insights that capture trends and identify areas for optimization.
  • Develop clear documentation and training materials, with mentorship from senior team members.
  • Learn how to assess system impacts related to material or process changes.
  • Take the lead on identifying small-scale opportunities for process improvements.
  • Experiment with emerging technologies and workflows, supported by the team.
