OnSpot is an innovative full service mobile dermatology practice that prioritizes convenience and the experience for our patients. We have opened our first surgical center in Fort Myers and we are looking to add a part-time experienced Histotechnologist to join our team during Mohs days.

We are looking for a new team member who is a positive team player to join our team!

Primary Responsibilities :

• Follow the laboratory’s established correction action policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory established acceptable levels of performance.
• Prepares tissue section for examination by using complex techniques and procedures such as embedding, precise positioning and cutting minute pieces of frozen tissue.
• Cuts and stains frozen section for rapid diagnosis during surgery
• Prepares slides for filing and organizes slide storage
• Monitors and stocks supplies
• Maintain and clean equipment
• Adhere to compliance and completion of compliance training
• Perform other related duties as assigned
