Financial Analyst

This position is responsible for the critical daily cash analysis for the holdings of the State of Michigan Retirement System's (SMRS) investment portfolios as well as Trust and Agency fund's portfolios, which have an aggregate market value of approximately $115 billion. The position is responsible for valuating and adjusting financial statements using various accounting standards and in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Standards. The position is responsible for developing, revising and implementing procedures in accordance with accounting principles, industry standards, and the Bureau of Investments' policies and procedures.
