A well-established systems integrator for industrial automation and process control solutions is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA. They support clients with turnkey control systems and variable speed drive designs, as well as industrial robotics applications — from concept through install — and provide long-term lifecycle support to customers across petrochemical, water / wastewater, raw materials, and food & beverage industrial environments.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement industrial control systems and process automation solutions
- Integrate PLC / HMI / SCADA systems for new builds, expansions, and retrofit projects
- Support control panel design, programming, testing, installation, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in the field and remotely
- Collaborate with engineering staff, project managers, and operations teams to ensure high quality execution and successful start-up
