Department : Facilities Improvement

Core Purpose : To enhance facilities and deliver exceptional experiences for our members.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead capital expenditure projects under the direction of the VP of Facilities Improvement.
  • Manage all aspects of projects, including scheduling, quality control, change orders, vendor coordination, cost management, invoicing, permit coordination, understanding construction plans and documents, and additional vendor management.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in retail, fitness, restaurant, or tenant improvement projects, preferably with ground-up project experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore.
  • Oversee change orders, contract negotiation and review, ensure quality assurance, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with employees, management, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Smartsheet, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Requirements :

  • Successfully pass a background check.
  • Ability to work in a gym setting and communicate effectively with employees, members, and vendors.
  • Proficient in operating company computer systems and software.
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing more than 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel to other states as needed.
  • Understanding of construction plans and documents; trade experience preferred.

Schedule : Monday Friday, occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
