Job description

Responsibilities :

Install and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.

Perform routine maintenance and warranty work.

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, including leak detection and repair.

Install new HVAC units according to specifications.

Perform leak detection using appropriate tools.

Pull vacuum to ensure system function.

Test for leaks using pressure gauges.

Connect pipes or tubing to relevant sources.

Lay out and connect electrical wiring.

Recharge refrigerant and check for leaks.

Calibrate thermostats and control systems.

Ensure compliance with standards and OSHA regulations.

Follow service standards and customer requirements.

Maintain accurate records.

Communicate effectively with customers.

Provide technical direction to junior technicians (if applicable).

Respond to emergency service calls.

Additional Responsibilities (Plumbing, Electrical, Building Maintenance) :

Perform basic plumbing tasks, such as repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.

Handle basic electrical repairs and installations, including testing circuits and components.

Address minor building maintenance issues, such as wall repair, painting, and replacing light fixtures.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in various building systems, including plumbing and electrical.

Assist with the installation and maintenance of energy management and control systems.

Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment used in maintenance and repairs.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Technical certification in HVAC is preferred.

Experience in new unit installation, leak detection, and vacuum pulling is essential.

Understanding of HVACR principles.

Proficiency in reading schematics.

Ability to troubleshoot HVACR systems.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

EPA Universal Certification is required.

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Requirements (Plumbing, Electrical, Building Maintenance) :

Experience in plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairs.

Knowledge of building maintenance practices and safety regulations.
